The clubs welcome new dancers in September and/or January, with some accepting new dancers year round. There are several levels to Square Dancing – Mainstream, Plus, Advanced, and Challenge – and Choreographed Ballroom Dancing – Beginner to Phase IV+.

A caller is required for Square Dancing and a cuer is required for Choreographed Ballroom Dancing and Clogging. There are many benefits to social dance – physical activity, mental stimulation, social benefits, and low costs. Dancers describe their dancing experience as life changing, stress relieving, fun times, awesome friendships, and good therapy. There is Square Dancing, Choreographed Ballroom Dancing, and Clogging in many areas of the world, so you can travel
    and dance anywhere.
